Sexy Halloween

Hey babes!
So have you noticed how all the Halloween costumes for women basically scream SEX! Yet the male equivalent scream LAME.
Yeah me too.
This year I'm going as Dorothy from "the wizard of Oz!" Except I will in no way look as sweet as the actress in the original film, instead the skirt is short, thigh high, an apron to accentuate the sexiness of innocence, a low cute front that if you wear the correct size, leaves little to the eye, and a tight bodice to accentuate curves. And this my friends, is a relatively conservative Halloween costume, however this dress is still quite slutty, therefore I bought a size too big to preserve my dignity :P though some would argue that I shouldn't wear it in the first place! Aha you old fart!
But what can men wear? A vampire? Frankenstein? or a ghoul? These hardly scream sex, especially as they are all covered up from head to toe! Why is it that women are expected to show so much skin yet men can escape wearing so much? Not that I particularly want/ expect to see scantily dressed males roaming the streets (same about women)  but I have no qualms with the way people present themselves as that is how they chose to dress. But I am not loving the fact women are still presented as a sexual object, to manifest pleasure for the 'superior' sex.
Halloween is supposedly a time for women to wear very little and then put on a pair of cat ears and all of a sudden she's wearing a cat costume. Also if you're going as a cat this year, well done you've reached white girl status ;P (last year I went as a fox, cause I'm foxxy)
Later losers xxxx

Lets talk about SEXXXX

Hey babies,
So I was thinking... I know I'm a kawaii blog, which is supposed to be all cute and fluffy but I'm reaching that age (18 going on 19) where sex is a big topic!
Most people my age have already had sex! Being a virgin at the age of 18 in this era means you will get a shit ton of weird looks, many a times have people said to me "you're a virgin? why?" My best friend even lying about his virginity when we first met!
But bearing in mind my target audience, I will talk to you about sex in the Kpop scene! Lets take a look into the girl groups, they are divided into 2 categories, the cuties such as APINK:
A Pink
APINK are very sweet with their natural hair tones, soft subtle makeup and big doe eyes and small noses. Their image scream femininity and innocence. They will in no way, touch the sexy image, and this works for them, parents are happy for their children to watch their MV's, to go to their concerts etc.
Here check out some of Apinks MV's:
Next up we have the sexy girl groups! Which, after Hyuna's sexy appearance in Psy's "Gangnam Style", and Kpop started to flood into the mainstream, has started to become the norm in the KPOP industry! Which is suitable for me and the rest of  the '95ers as Kpop had grown up with us, but young children can now no longer watch certain 18+ mv's!
PSY- Gangnam Style
Hyunas's

One of the controversies this year was UKiss's " Quit Playing". The video had a huge backlash, with the fans practically crying as their beloved Oppas hooked up with other sexy women Infront of their very eyes. The video was then taken down, edited and then re-uploaded, the video still carries the same sexual tone but now you don't see the members getting as much action.
One member, the adored Kevin, even had to appoligise to the fans for this video, a video that pales in comparison to nikki ninjas anaconda! But even with the new edited mv fans cried "oh how dare they do this to kevin Oppa, he's a baby!" "Oh UKiss, poor UKiss... They don't want this"...
OH PLEASE, they are horny 20 year olds, they are having sex. They loved the shooting! They had beautiful sexy woman dancing and grinding on them, they bloody loved it! And SEX SELLS. In fact if anyone can find me the original version of the MV please give me the link, I was in Spain when the MV came out so i was behind with the kpop news and missed it!

Photo of sistar, one of the older girl groups with s sexy concept
hyuna, part of 4minute, but also a very sexy soloist.
2pm, often shirtless and sweaty, with hard glare and sexy bodies.

Let's talk about who I think is the queen of SEX in Kpop, btw there is s huge debate about this, as there is Boa, GaIn and lee hyeri! But I think Hyuna is the Queen. She is so outrageous and offends everyone and I love it! She is sexy as fuccccck! And what's best about her? She has a completely different persona off stage, she's a real cutie once she's back to being herself!

Here are a couple of sexy Kpop videos's:
2PM: ADTOY
Hyuna- RED
AOA- Mini Skirt
Girl's Day- Something
GaIn- Fxxk U

Here are some more sweet innocent ones
Crayon Pop- BarBarBar  this song pisses me off to a new extreme
T-ARA- Bunny Style

Leon lunch

Hello beautiful blog readers<3
So today I went out on a lunch date, well actually I went shopping in Brent Cross. I came home for the weekend, so while I was here I went out with my boyfriend, so it was a toss up between Yo Sushi (which I absolutely adore, sushi for life) or Leon, which my friend from secondary school (EBS) recommended to me.
Basically I'm a bit of a health food addict, I'm not crazy, like I still appreciate a good greasy burger and fries, but I know that if I want to live a long healthy life, I'll have to skip the burger for a salad!
However if you're a student on a tight budget, I don't recommend this restaurant, for 2 people, lunch came to £19.40, but we're bucks students, our limited social life means we save money from going out, so we have extra money to spend on nice restaurants. Although apparently there is a 15% discount for students, but my NUS plus card hasn't arrived yet..
So I had the Chargrilled chicken aioli hotbox with brown rice, which was astoundingly good, the rice and chicken had this beautiful ranch dreading, which usually I am not particularly fond of, I mean if you're going to have a salad, keep it healthy, don't drown the goodness in pointless carbs and fat. Mehhhh personal opinion, haha.
But Conrad had the lamb kofte salad, which he said was good, it came with a super salad, which had a range of leaves, peas and I think he mentioned spinach? Not too sure, the lamb was "minty"
Little cutie!
So from this visit I've decided to give Leon a 10/10 for appearances, I loved the lay out of the shop, the fact it came in little boxes was super kawaii
10/10 for the taste, cause ohmygawd was it good and surprisingly really filling!
But 7/10 for the price, as I can appreciate not everyone is okay with spending £20 on lunch for 2 #studentlife.
I love this place, and I'll definately be returning when I'm back in Barnet this Christmas!

Kawaii KPOP!

Hello my lovelies!
So I know I said I was going to do today's blog about teen depression (which I will but in a separate post) however this post is on KPOP! Wow!
So basically, I may or may not be addicted to Kpop, if you are so behind the times, KPOP is korean pop.
I was introduced to Kpop when I was about 14, so coming up to 5 years now, my first ever Kpop band was Beast/b2st... Please enjoy this photo of them:
I was so obsessed with Beast that I even went to the United cube concert in London for my birthday with 2 of my best friends! It was an epic night, like you at some stage, need to attend a Kpop concert, we don't fangirl like normal girls.
So basically let me tell you how to Kpop, but warning once you enter the Kpop scene, there's no getting out! And it's avert expensive hobby, literally you have to be willing to spend £15+ on 1 CD that usually only has 6 songs on it, that's £2.50 a song, however you could go on iTunes an download the album for probably £7 but you wouldn't get the beauties of photo albums... You want the photo albums. But not only are the CD's pricey, but all concert tickets are too! Usually £60 for a relatively unknown band, I paid £160 for 1 ticket to see BIGBANG and I paid for my best friend for her Christmas present too. But in retrospect it's kind of understandable since they are coming from the other side of the world. But that's the next problem... Your "Oppa's" (you'll soon understand the lingo, I'll write a summary up down below) live on the other side of the world, which means you'll probably never see them, all the Kpop programmes are in KOREAN, so you have to wait for someone to put sub titles up! Which can range from a day after (if the fan base is as big as one as EXO) or sometimes never! Also if you want merchandise, the price of your favourite groups Tshirt might say $25 but have you added the world wide postage fee? Cause damn! Does the price soar. It is an expensive hobby.
How to be a Kpop star------ Must watch!

But yeah, how to Kpop, first pick a group! Be that boy or girl, if you go boy, I suggest go for some of the more generally liked stuff, such as BIGBANG, super Junior, Exo, SHINee... And for girls, GIrls Generation, 2NE1, F(X), Miss A, Secret...
Then watch 1, maybe 2 or 3 music videos, freak out, cause in every MV they all look completely different from how they looked in the previous MV.
Now my favourite part, you can find their profiles online, I love this about Kpop, for someone as nosey as me, the fact all their details are up on one simple site, brilliant! Here's a quick link: SuMandu, the Kpop guru.
Now you need to pick a bias, your bias is basically like saying your favourite member of the group, typically for girls this then turns into "my husband". For me for example, in TEENTOP my bias is Chunji! It may be because they are stunningly gorgeous, or because they make you laugh, or you may just be a little bit of a sap and cry at their songs ;P
And that my dears, is where the obsession begins, first its just MV's, then its variety shows, until finally you're on kdrama's and there is nothing quite as dramatic as a kdrama, I mean you can forget about East Enders!

So yeah *sighs dramatically* my love for TEENTOP is unreal, you know I went VIP to their concert, yeah I swear to you, it was one of the happiest moments of my life #sadbuttrue.
But there are also sites such as Allkpop which will give you all the latest news about all your favourite artists! and you may scoff and say "ha! like I'm going to care that much... except you will..."
I suggest you watch this video for reference ;) How people get addicted to Kpop
Good luckkkkkk

New Blog!

Hello Beautiful blogalicious new world!

I am Lisa! I will hopefully be running a daily blog (starting Sunday the 12th of October 2014)!
But basically, I'm a journalist in the training, my lecturer Roger (yes that's Roger without the D) will say we're all journalists now, I am a journalist! but I was doing some extra reading on this marvellous book "'essential reporting' the NCTJ guide for TRAINEE JOURNALISTS" by Jon Smith, and as the title will guide you, in Smith's point of view, I am only a trainee journalist! Alas, the day shall come, almost as if I am rising from the muck, the day I become a journalist for the Guardian. WOWOWOWOW!
But for now, Lisa is just a lonesome blogger, so I will give you some insight on what I should be blogging about;

If you haven't deciphered from the title of my blog, I will be running a kawaii blog, if you do not know what kawaii is, I do not understand how you have ended up here, or you are Roger Perkins. But never fear my dears, Lisa will teach you all the wonders of kawaii-ism.
Basically kawaii is from the Japanese pop culture, it's very in at the moment, well.... in Asia.. It means cuteness, so if someone calls you kawaii, thank them. They are calling you cute, adorable and lovable.
In this blog, I will be on the hunt for all things kawaii, be that mega cute stores, or things i've purchased or even to someone's outfit of the day (you can always turn back here Rog), and my favourite segment, drum rolls please, I will have a kawaii person of the week! I will prey on the lost souls of Buckingham, looking and egging them to do kawaii things, then I shall hurry them over to my room, duct tape them to the seat and produce an interview with them!
Oh how the excitement is bubbling inside of me!
But I am afraid this is where we must part our ways, I, as a journalist/ trainee journalist, must go find the truth! hahah! But I will see you shortly, so anticipate Sunday!

Lisa (aka kawaiiism) x
