The Sex Talk

Hey Milkshakes,

So I realised some of my more popular blog posts were on sex/relationships... So I decided to give the topic another go and see where it would lead me.

Lisa is a 19 year old virgin, now for some of you this may be crazy and for some its no big deal.
For the good half of last year I was so freaked out by being an 18 turning 19 year old virgin, but sex and commitment freaked me out even more. I kept questioning myself, is there something wrong with me? Why don't I want to be in a relationship to the extent I actually run away from the boy! In fact, a little inside information, I'm currently doing that right now, running from your problems is a skill I tell you.

 But I think I know what it is now, I see myself as not a girl but not yet a woman, but I'm so happy in this state, that I don't want to leave it. Like an overdue baby ;p
I mean why would I want to commit myself to one guy, have to spend the majority of my time with him and listen to him whined on forever about going bald, and not be as friendly with my other guy friends! My ex used to always complain about the amount of time I spent with other guys, and that just pissed me off. I like being able to be friendly flirtly, to have skinship, I like being able to kiss whoever and not feel bad about it!

My friend Cam wrote in his blog, that in today's society we feel the need to be in a relationship. He's totally right, in my first term of uni and over Christmas break I felt like it was vital to be part of a couple, to be an 'item' with someone. But now I can so clearly say, that I'm happy being me, I don't need some guy to make me complete, i'm not a damsel in distress... Well okay that's a lie, i'm a complete stereotypical damsel in distress, but I don't need some prince to come rescue me, I have my own squad of knights in my friends.

But after that speech on independence and not needing a guy, I have been seeing some guys over the past year, you'll know from my previous blog post The Confessions of a Loser In Love that I have had a sort of past, but literally since about the last couple of months of 2014 and up and continuing now, my love life suddenly bloomed. It's crazy! So maybe I'm not the best person to give that speech.
However if you read my posts you'll know I've seen some guys recently, and 1 or 2 of them were slightly pressuring me into that (sexual)direction, but I knew I wasn't ready then and I think they understood that... or came to understand it. It was still awkward though, but in fact the first guy I did start have thoughts about giving it up to, well i'm so glad I didn't, he turned out to be an immature arsehole who you can't have a serious conversation with, without him singing down the phone to provoke you, or starting fights with your friends. Stick to your guns and pick the right person for you! You don't want to look back with regrets, be like me and look back with relief!


But this term I've come to realize, I shouldn't force myself into things i'm not comfortable with, so what if i'm not ready, one day I will be, that may be in a years time or who knows maybe even tomorrow... You can betcha your ass I'll blog about it though!

 I know soon enough, I'm going to have my cherry popped, but I would rather be comfortable and ready for that time,  and not have the memory be some thing that sends shivers of distress down my spine which most of my friends have. I want it to be with someone I care about, not someone I have half hearted feelings for.

Sorry this isn't very Kawaii, but I suppose I could put a spin on it. Does being 'kawaii' mean we have to stay innocent and pure? Also wtf is this sexual obsession with taking away a girls virginity? Like once you take it, what are you going to do? Ditch her after you've made her fall in love with ya? Not cool. But that's another topic for another day.

CAN WE PLEASE JUST TALK ABOUT HOW GDRAGON AND KIKO STILL HAVEN'T MADE THEIR RELATIONSHIP OFFICIAL?

I mean, we've all really know about their relationship for like 5 years now, with the numerous dating scandals they've been in, but now we have clear solid proof! And YG still haven't made it official! 

Dispatch is on the ball recently, the past 2 years they have been on FIRE! I love it! So scandalous! 

Basically let me tell you about the dating scandals, if you are a Kpop idol you get 0 love life, or you could be a cool kid and date in secret ;) But if you are a woman in the Kpop scene, if you are caught up in a dating scandal, you will be slaughtered, especially if you are dating a male Idol! 

Take Taeyeon and Baekhyun, who were caught kissing in her open top car (car dates are very popular for Kpop idols) Taeyeon was part of the biggest female Kpop group, GirlsGeneration, potentially one of the most loved idols, as soon as she was part of the dating scandal with fellow entertainment company member, EXO's Baekhyun, she was tormented, her Instagram was flooded with hate, she was reduced to tears in an airport, and was forced to appologise. Baekhyun interestingly enough was forgiven instantly and she was the witch who corrupted him.

But then take Minah from Girls Day, who was in a dating scandal with a football player, no one gave a single fuck! An in fact when she broke up with him, a few months down the line, netizens actually whined about how disappointed they were that they broke up. 

Basically if you are a male Kpop idol, you now belong to the females of Korea. Good luck.

Sexy Halloween

Hey babes! 

So have you noticed how all the Halloween costumes for women basically scream SEX! Yet the male equivalent scream LAME. 

Yeah me too.

 This year I'm going as Dorothy from "the wizard of Oz!" Except I will in no way look as sweet as the actress in the original film, instead the skirt is short, thigh high, an apron to accentuate the sexiness of innocence, a low cute front that if you wear the correct size, leaves little to the eye, and a tight bodice to accentuate curves. And this my friends, is a relatively conservative Halloween costume, however this dress is still quite slutty, therefore I bought a size too big to preserve my dignity :P though some would argue that I shouldn't wear it in the first place! Aha you old fart!

But what can men wear? A vampire? Frankenstein? or a ghoul? These hardly scream sex, especially as they are all covered up from head to toe! Why is it that women are expected to show so much skin yet men can escape wearing so much? Not that I particularly want/ expect to see scantily dressed males roaming the streets (same about women)  but I have no qualms with the way people present themselves as that is how they chose to dress. But I am not loving the fact women are still presented as a sexual object, to manifest pleasure for the 'superior' sex. 

Halloween is supposedly a time for women to wear very little and then put on a pair of cat ears and all of a sudden she's wearing a cat costume. Also if you're going as a cat this year, well done you've reached white girl status ;P (last year I went as a fox, cause I'm foxxy)

So I was thinking... I know I'm a kawaii blog, which is supposed to be all cute and fluffy but I'm reaching that age (18 going on 19) where sex is a big topic!
Most people my age have already had sex! Being a virgin at the age of 18 in this era means you will get a shit ton of weird looks, many a times have people said to me "you're a virgin? why?" My best friend even lying about his virginity when we first met! 

But bearing in mind my target audience, I will talk to you about sex in the Kpop scene! Lets take a look into the girl groups, they are divided into 2 categories, the cuties such as APINK: 

APINK are very sweet with their natural hair tones, soft subtle makeup and big doe eyes and small noses. Their image scream femininity and innocence. They will in no way, touch the sexy image, and this works for them, parents are happy for their children to watch their MV's, to go to their concerts etc.

Next up we have the sexy girl groups! Which, after Hyuna's sexy appearance in Psy's "Gangnam Style", and Kpop started to flood into the mainstream, has started to become the norm in the KPOP industry! Which is suitable for me and the rest of  the '95ers as Kpop had grown up with us, but young children can now no longer watch certain 18+ mv's!

One of the controversies this year was UKiss's " Quit Playing". The video had a huge backlash, with the fans practically crying as their beloved Oppas hooked up with other sexy women Infront of their very eyes. The video was then taken down, edited and then re-uploaded, the video still carries the same sexual tone but now you don't see the members getting as much action. 

One member, the adored Kevin, even had to appoligise to the fans for this video, a video that pales in comparison to nikki ninjas anaconda! But even with the new edited mv fans cried "oh how dare they do this to kevin Oppa, he's a baby!" "Oh UKiss, poor UKiss... They don't want this"...

OH PLEASE, they are horny 20 year olds, they are having sex. They loved the shooting! They had beautiful sexy woman dancing and grinding on them, they bloody loved it! And SEX SELLS. In fact if anyone can find me the original version of the MV please give me the link, I was in Spain when the MV came out so i was behind with the kpop news and missed it!

Let's talk about who I think is the queen of SEX in Kpop, btw there is s huge debate about this, as there is Boa, GaIn and lee hyeri! But I think Hyuna is the Queen. She is so outrageous and offends everyone and I love it! She is sexy as fuccccck! And what's best about her? She has a completely different persona off stage, she's a real cutie once she's back to being herself!
